Our Farming Practices

Regenerative Agriculture

For the past few years, we have been pioneering regenerative agriculture practices. Basically, this means we focus on the health of the entire ecosystem of our land, beginning with soil. We have introduced a variety of plants that feed the entire ecosystem. This also gives our animals a broad range of vitamins and minerals to create the healthiest, highest quality beef.

Pasture Rotation

We have also implemented pasture rotation. This allows our animals to mimic their ancestors that roamed the hills and plain, grazing an area very close but then leaving the plants undisturbed for months at a time. This stimulates growth in the plants, but also improves soil health, drought resistance, and minimizes invasive plants and pests. This practice has made our land far more productive and our animals happier and naturally healthier.

Elimination of Chemicals

Regenerative agriculture also allows us to practically eliminate herbicides, pesticides, chemical fertilizers, and other unnatural processes. What we have learned is actually bringing us back to the centuries-old wisdom our great-grandparents used to feed their families.
