6 Generations of Cattle Farmers

Our family has been raising cattle in Tennessee since at least the 1860s. Now, the sixth generation is fully invested in bringing healthy beef to our neighbors and friends. In recent years, we have joined the regenerative agriculture revolution. A few years ago, people began asking us if we could sell them beef directly. At first, we refused because we didn’t know any relationships with processors or know whether we could sustain the practice. At the same time, we saw the international conglomerates making family farms almost impossible to sustain from a financial perspective. And we began to learn about the health benefits of grass-fed beef. So, we took the plunge and began selling directly to our neighbors, friends, and family. The response has been tremendous and we are working diligently to make the process easier to understand and follow.
